Seven of Wands depicts a young man on a precipice, staving off competition from a vantage point above. Six may be attacking, though the young man has the best position. He overcomes the odds and achieves victory, while maintaining a strong position.

Marseilles Tarot speaks of struggle. Someone putting up a fight against many opponents. Could also represent endurance, keeping one’s position in a conflict situation.
