Introduction to smol farming
It’s been a little over a month since the SMOL airdrop. In that month, a ragtag team of 180 front-end developers, back-end developers, engineers, artists, disgraced financiers, and reformed farmers have been hard at work. Collaborating to develop a vision of how to build a future without limits.
We are excited to announce the initial launch of our farm and NFT minting platform!
With the initial launch of the farm, users will get their first taste of farming smol NFTs, or collectible tokens. The initial season will yield rare tokens that set the stage for the elaborate farming environment we’re building. Smol NFTs will give you a farming boost similar to an experience upgrade in a video game. This gives our early adopters a better chance of obtaining hard-to-get items in future seasons.
Over the coming weeks we’ll continue giving updates, developments, and even community town halls of our plan to build longevity and value into our NFTs and how they will fit into the economic system we’re building. For now, let’s just say we’re not here to mint art NFTs that will just sit in your wallet until you can find someone to sell to at a higher price. Everything we are producing will expand onto a core base of ideas and continue to build an experimental ecosystem that will ultimately develop into a new style of sustainable long-term yield farming.
This is an ambitious project, all funded with money from our community of both public faces and anonymous devs. We are here to change the way people view NFTs and to show the world their true potential in the right system. We aren’t afraid to risk our own capital to see our vision flourish.
It’s impossible to express how proud we are of our team and what they’ve been able to come up with and accomplish around an airdrop that started with no use or direction. It’s been an extremely rewarding month with countless sleepless nights and lots of coffee.
We’ve explored the latest concepts, made new friends, and blossomed into the robust community we have today. It’s been an amazing project so far and we’re excited to continue building on our vision and trying to change crypto over the coming months and years.
