Add clickable images

Upload an image and link it to any webpage. Once your readers click on the image, they will be directed to an assignment, a sign-up form, a webpage with more information, or even just the photo source. Because you can link any active webpage — the options are endless!

Edit ALT text

When uploading or editing your photos on Smore, you can now add alternate(ALT) text! The ALT text will appear when readers hover over your photos. This is important for accessibility — specifically for visually impaired readers. Also, this is helpful for SEO —your Smore will be more easily found online through search engines because the text provides extra clues for Google (or Bing).

Editor’s Note: Of course, if you don’t want to be found on search engines, just edit your privacy settings on Smore. Click here to learn more.

Large images are editable, too!

We heard you! All image editing capabilities have now been extended to large images, not just image galleries. This includes cropping and all of the other options listed here.
