Saurabh is a career consultant entrepreneur and international youth mentor who mentors students and young professionals between the ages of 10–40 across various academic disciplines and professional domains. He has impacted over 20,000 students, parents, teachers and aspirants across 50+ universities and colleges, 600+ schools, companies, education institutions and individuals in India and 35+ countries across 5 continents. He regularly appears on National Media in India on topics of career consulting, cyber bullying, SDGs in education and democratising access to information.

He has 2 other copyrights to his name — Step Zero: Career Counselling Framework (based on the ‘Inside’ sphere of Spheres of Understanding) and Micro-Experiments: Youth Mentorship Framework for Career Success (also based on the ‘Inside’ sphere of Spheres of Understanding). He is working on a couple of more frameworks.
His mentorship spans various aspects of a candidate’s career development such as research projects, scholarly articles, social science surveys, SDG related projects, startups, strategic thinking and communication skills.
He is the recipient of the national level Josh Education Awards for “Best Initiative for Mental Health Awareness” by the Dainik Jagran group facilitated on 31st March 2022.
In April 2022, he has been on-boarded as a “Mentor of Change” by the Government of India’s Atal Innovation Mission.
He has completed his education in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab (NIT Jalandhar) in 2009. He then went on to work for Fiserv India as a Software Engineer for 2 and a half years. But his desire to find out why we take the career decisions we take, took him to the education sector in 2012. He has travelled and worked all over India; completed his Masters in Psychology; went to Denmark to work with a university in 2016; started his first career consulting company, called the Happy Career Project in 2017; went to Japan as a global innovator to Awaji Youth Federation in 2019 where he led the development of a beta version of a peer-to-peer learning platform for grass roots SDGs’ best practices; started his passion project around impactful conversations through his podcast — Such Conversations Matter in the lockdown in 2020; started his second company, SN Mentoring, during the COVID-19 lockdown.
He is currently an International Youth Mentor working with many organisations such as YUNGA (Youth and United Nations Global Alliance) Japan, Purpose in Motion, NIT Jalandhar (Managerial Society), Enactus Gargi, Enactus SSCBS in Delhi University, Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Jalandhar with Dr Anjali Arora (winner of President of India award), Jagriti Yatra (2021–22) and a few other organisations.
In 2023, he founded “Open Source Mentorship” for providing guidance to Youth to develop solutions for the betterment of humanity and the planet.
