A World Away
in recognition of International Day Against Homo/Trans/Bi-phobia
Originally published in Endless Magazine in August of 2015, the piece below is one of the first articles I wrote after starting on Medium. It has since been published in a number of LGBTQ magazines and human rights journals around the world, and translated into two languages. Inspired in part by the work of James Finn, and in recognition and solidarity with International Day Against Homo/Trans/Bi-phobia, I’m publishing this excerpt which links back to the original story.
