I can’t draw. Never could. But I can take photos — and do frequently. If my art teachers could see what we can create with our photos now, they might acknowledge that artistic talent doesn’t just come from a pen or a brush.

The original of the above picture was taken by Bruce Jacobs with a 35mm camera on color film. In the early 2000’s, Bruce scanned all/most of our prints into the computer. This picture was lost for a few years in our all too big photo library. Artistic license taken? Comiced it, of course!

Like the first one, this was taken by Bruce during our year late honeymoon in Florida. 35mm film printed, then scanned in. (I don’t know why this one is smaller than the other one.) Artistic license: Toon’ed it.

A meeting of the technologies

My other half with one of his medium format cameras. Taken by me on 35mm film. Scanned by him. Not dated, but probably early 90’s. Artistic license: Matrix.

Disney World, circa 1990's

Taken by myself about a decade after the first one. 35mm film printed, then scanned in. (I don’t know why this one is smaller either.) Artistic license: Warholed it.
