This week was defined by bees, buzzing and business. I was very excited to see TWO wishlist species this week. Yes, I am that kind of nature nerd that has a wishlist for all the species that I’d love to see around my home. One of them isn’t included in this piece because I’ve already written about it.

If you’re interested, you can find it here.

I’m glad I saw them because big changes are coming. We will be putting our house (and my garden, eek, sob) on the market this year. So we are very busy trying to get the gardens and house shipshape.

Seeing a Great Carpenter Bee was a fantastic highlight for the first day of this week, but I didn’t want to duplicate content too much. The flowers that the Great Carpenter Bee was visiting were on a Blue Tongue Plant (Melastoma affine). This plant can only be successfully pollinated by Buzz Pollinators, bees that vibrate on the anthers to activate the release of pollen which is “locked away” in some plants.
