A decade or so ago I headed out from Atlanta for a week’s worth of work with old friends of mine down south of Yellowstone. Naturally, I stopped by Yellowstone for the weekend. It was late in the fall so there weren’t a bazillion other tourists blocking my views of the 35-mile x 50-mile caldera.
