FOG

It’s the time of year in Florida when summer is still residence during the day but at night autumn intrudes, just a little, like a pesky neighbor knocking on the door. Moisture from our almost daily afternoon thunderstorms now turns to fog thanks to slighty, very slightly, cooler temps at night.

Our morning dog walks are often shrouded in a misty fog that leaves droplets on skin and hair.

And, the lake in our backyard is draped in gray lace.

Summer is packing her bags, slowly, while autumn keeps knocking.
