Alpines are my favorite! They have the most personality and get very attached to you. The babies are tired after a long afternoon of visitors, even though we rotated them.

This is my first trip out to the farm this year, and the babies are all one to two weeks old. For the uninitiated, they are born ready to walk and nurse, and within a day they’re bouncing off the walls (as in, literally).

A mix of Boers (mostly white, aka “meat goats” :-( ), Lamancha (the one with tiny ears), and Nubians (long, adorable ears). Most are really a mix at this point.
And this is what all baby goats do when you kneel down. My Happy Place!
