Going BIG to see small? #3
finishing a series about going macro to see micro
Text and photos by LensAfield
In this installment, I will finish looking into the intimate details of one other bouquet inhabitant.
There were at least six different flower types in the bouquet, but not all fit the nature of my interest for this series, but these Anemones did.
I tried to follow the lifecycle of the Anemone flowers from opening until they had finshed their purpose and were in decline. The petals had that yellow tinge early in the sequence as they were opening, becoming white as the process continued.
The changes in the female anatomy were subtle but significant as it opened up in preparartion for receiving the pollen. Pollen development also was not significant until shortly before the flowers open completely.
That concludes this examination into the bouquet of going big to see small. Spring is here, time to forego shooting indoors and turn back into LensAfield!
