“Have you been painting today?”

There has to be a splash of color, a tiny bit of warm
Mix it all together —
My brush is not forlorn,
I hold on tight
With all my might, I flick it oh so hard.
It splatters each and every way,
Its colors fall in place,
Along this path in wilderness,
My heart begins to race.
Excitement!
Delightment!
Who knew what some can do
With just a brush, a flick of wrist —
A site of beauty appears,
It seems I felt some tears.
Nature’s beauty brought me to my knees.
I feel nature's effect — it really does appease.
