I Miss This Ibis

Good thing I photographed him before he flew away

It was last December on a trail in the Florida marsh. There he was, a magnificent Ibis. He was feeding and did not see me at first. So I decided to take his picture.

Just as I lifted my camera to take what I hoped would be a series of shots, the Ibis launched itself into the sky. I was fortunate to get one shot before he disappeared.
