I was in Chicago, Illinois and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA last week working with some most excellent old friends. Received word that this week’s work with some old Texas friends had to be put on hold. I have a total of nine straight days off. Thinking back, this might be the first time in twenty years or so such a thing has happened. Nine straight days just for me.

So, I’ve been pickin’ and a grinnin’, writing, and hanging out. Mostly in my front yard. Working on two new novels is engrossing work. Playing the old songs is as natural as can be.

The moon was working overtime Sunday. The last two nights have been overcast so I haven’t caught the fullest of the full moon. I like to shoot the darkened sky in part because I never know what to expect from my iPhone 13 Pro. The cropping tool is it for me. Anything else is over my old head. So, when I see the matrix I’m sometimes baffled. Is this really what I saw? Or was this one, shot seconds later, at slightly more magnification, it? My MacBook…
