The hills are alive with the clang of cowbells

Monte Tamaro is a recreation area located in the Canton of Ticino, in Southern Switzerland. You have to take a cable car up the mountain to truly appreciate everything the site has to offer.

In addition to spectacular views, there are many attractions for outdoor enthusiasts, including hiking trails and picnic areas. I have been there a few times and spent the afternoon completing the high ropes course or riding the zip line.

Although those activities were challenging and memorable, I most enjoyed the time I spent simply observing the livestock in the immediate vicinity.
