My Favorite New and Old Photography Subjects in Las Vegas
There are many photo opportunities in Las Vegas aside from the visitors swarming Las Vegas Blvd.
In addition to the new Sphere with its thousands of constantly changing lights, my favorite sites are the Cleveland Clinic facility designed by Frank Gehry, Ethel M’s chocolate factory and cactus garden, and Bellagio’s Conservatory and its fountain display.
The philanthropist Larry Ruvo persuaded Frank Gehry to design an Alzheimer’s research center in memory of his father, Lou. The brain health center is “composed of two radically different buildings joined by a partially clad steel trellis shading an outdoor patio.” [1]
The Bellagio Conservatory flower displays are always beautiful. The theme of the display we saw was “Tea and Tulips.”
