Noir Stillness

An interplay between the lights and the shadows

There is something about monochrome photographs.

It’s classic.

It's timeless.

It's a captivating art form that simplifies the visual narrative, combining critical elements like shape, contrast, texture and the moment itself to tell a story, without vividness taking the grandness of the image.

The world is dominated by radiant colour. Yet I find vividness in black and white photography, as it simplifies the narration, and amplifies the compositions in depth. I also find a nostalgic feeling while exploring the monochrome, a sort of vintage vibe through the monochromatic visual experience.

A profound touch of visual illustrations, for sure!

Noir Stillness is all about that, an interplay between the lights and the shadows!
