Reflections Along Rockaway Beach, Oregon (by WM House; )

Reflections of a Different Color

Walking on the Oregon Coast

A morning walk along the Oregon coast at low tide yielded a series of interesting images. On a chilly March morning, sea mist mingled with mountain fog and drifted in front of the coastal range. The tide was extraordinarily low, allowing me to wander far offshore on waterlogged sand flats. The reflections are coming off the wet sand, not a pool of standing water.

The scene provided rich material for some digital fun.
