Ryman Auditorium

A music venue in Nashville, Tennessee

This summer, I visited Nashville, Tennessee. My neighbor and I went without a plan. We knew we would figure things out as we went.

While down there, we decided to check out the Ryman Auditorium, “one of the most celebrated venues in modern music.” The first concert at Ryman Auditorium was held in 1892.

There were a few different tour options, a self-guided tour and a tour behind the scenes. We decided to upgrade and check out the backstage rooms. We were happy we did, as this was the most interesting part.

We were able to sit in the same seats where some of the most prominent country singers once lounged. Our tour guide shared various tales with us, as we wandered around.
