It’s a cat thing I guess. For the last 3 of the 6 years we have had Taffy, this silly toy, a small, soft ball on a string, has been visible and accessible, but has been ignored.

In the last two weeks, however, suddenly this toy is her go-to.

In addition to attention to the toy, Taffy has returned to using the tent-houses. We have two. One we got as a prize at some pet event, and the other we bought at the dollar store. Both are in rickety condition.

When we first got them several years ago, Taffy loved them. Then after we got Mo, and Mo showed an interest in the tents, Taffy abandoned them.

Finally, a year after poor old Mo passed, the Mo Stigma seems to have passed and Taffy has returned to using those tent photo houses all the time, along with the ball on a string toy.
