February here in our part of southern Ontario (Mississauga) has been cold and grey. With no dog to force us outdoors, we have pursued mainly indoor activities. One of these activities is reviewing items received from Amazon in their Vine program. You find something you would like to review, they send it to you, and you review it, bingo!

The item in the lead photo is a really nicely made fake Olive tree made by Lyerse, that Amazon sent. Well made and quite attractive. Once the weather is warm, this is destined to be placed on our front patio as a bit of a privacy screen.

The next 3 photos came about because I was looking for images for an upcoming article. I dragged out the old photo albums and these are some oldies from the 1980s that I scanned.

Here is a Russian Olive tree that I planted at our first house! Ties in to the fake olive tree in the lead photo;-) Photo by Louise Peacock

The 5th photo is of our new cat, Shadow. It was taken during the long and patience-challenging process of socializing her, which started in November with her being completely withdrawn and has finally progressed to where she will allow herself to be quite close to us.
