6-Word Photo Story Summer Challenge

Sky rumbles
wind howls
“Storm’s coming.”

Down Under, we’re in the middle of winter. This past month saw Perth experience the wettest July in twenty-six years. It didn't just rain; it stormed. And it stormed HARD.

If it wasn’t storming, another storm was on the horizon. The kind of storm that the news station weather forecasters claimed day after day was a once-in-a-year storm.

And the fronts rolled in …unrelenting in their fury. Then a once-in-ten-year storm arrived … and brought flash flooding which occurred all over the city.

Luckily August started with a little bit of sunshine!

This 6-word story is in response to the challenge issued by Mary Chang Story Writer.
