I have always loved orchids. But, although I have a touch of a green thumb in my garden, I have never really had a lot of luck with getting these delicate and persnickety plants to rebloom. This one, I nursed through the winter, in the warmth of my kitchen window, watching its tender sprout spike up towards the light. When tiny buds formed, I was over the moon.
