This is the nectar bubble-blower from the previous post.
A skipper does a fly-by
A two-banded scolid wasp. Not a common sight around here.
Same wasp about to get a quick bump-and-run attack from this g. Halictus.

And here are images of tiny butterfly eggs found on the underside of the milkweed leaves.

And the seed pods are beginning to open.

And one last deeply textured, tiny, under-leaf egg.

I’m still cataloging several hundred photos but will try to do another specific theme again next time.
