Three For February
Carol King is crooning So Far Away
This was a bit of a challenge. I traveled most of the time far away from my low vista overlooking the north end of Horsetooth Reservoir, Belluvue, Colorado. Another month on turbulence trail and I’ll have a few minutes to rest. Home weekends catching up and taking a bit of time for myself was not a bad thing.
So, three photos to summarize my February. Well, start with an interesting phenomenon hanging out in my backyard.
Sunrises from my deck, aka my front yard, are typically subtle like this one. Occasionally there is a bit of brightness as well. Meanwhile, my iPhone 13 Pro has, as usual, caught a photo or two for our pleasure. My MacBook Air did the crop and add my name thing.
The Cache la Poudre River became my go-to get-lost-on-a-crooked-road-up-to ten thousand feet place to be during brief weekends home.
Nothing like having a wild and scenic river so close at hand. The solitude it affords is boundless.
