We’re Dreaming of a White Christmas

…And We Got One!

Around here, for the past few weeks, everyone was talking about how they were hoping for a white Christmas.

On December 25, here in Mississauga, Southern Ontario, Canada, we got that white Christmas with a vengeance.

First thing on Christmas morning, I stepped out to view the extent of the snowfall and this is what greeted me.

It didn’t seem to be too bad. Not much had fallen in terms of depth, maybe three inches. However, the temperature was just below freezing and this made the cleanup messy and heavy.

We actually resorted to using the snowblower (after 9:30 am!) to clear the driveway. One of our neighbours had been out a bit earlier and had very kindly cleared the sidewalks.
