What are Homes for us?
As I wonder what our houses or homes
mean to us?
Homes that we have lived
through our journey in life
from womb to the grave
does it have only material significance
or does it have a deeper influence?
a permanence or spiritual effect?
in the house, we live our minute details
etching a framework of what we do
or what we can do, and
how we are people around us
it tends to help us divide our life
from the comfort & familiarity to otherwise
from the warmth of family to the world outside
from being vulnerable in your adobe,
to the strong self, we portray outdoors
after all happy economical yet comfortable home
is what builds a healthy mind, and body in us
making all the difference in our lives
why don't seem to recognize how they shape us?
