SnapEx Determines to Go Beyond, One Charity at a Time

While young people in the city look up to the stars and talk about their dreams, their peers in remote mountainous areas struggle to meet their basic needs. In such a challenging environment, talking about dreams is a luxury to them.

In the pursuit of fulfilling the social responsibility of uplifting lives, SnapEx — a digital currency contract trading platform for global investors — is committed to empowering youths to break through their challenges and dream bigger.

With this in mind, SnapEx took the initiative to sponsor U-Hearts, a non-profit organization based in Hong Kong for the “One Heart for Youth Run” charity fundraising event, playing the dual role of social welfare practitioners and promoters.

U-Hearts is composed of a group of volunteers in Hong Kong that shares similar ideals and enthusiasm as the SnapEx team. They are committed to improving the learning environment of students in remote mountainous areas of China. Apart from building schools and helping students, they also organise mountain life experience exchange activities, and helping local youths develop the spirit of individual growth and communal social contribution.

Extreme challenge, running for charity

The charity event was led by Donald Cheung, a veteran volunteer of “Two Places and One Heart”. A combination of extreme sports and the spirit of charity, the event is a demanding physical challenge of running 250km in the harsh and unforgiving terrains of the Sahara Desert.

The goal was to raise 250,000 Yuan and donating the entire sum to the U-Training of “Two Places and One Heart” youth development programme. The event aims to train more talented and dedicated people to improve the educational environment for young people in remote mountainous areas of China in the future.

SnapEx’s sponsorship of the “One Heart, Run for Teens” charity event is based on the high recognition of the concept and purpose of “Two Places and One Heart,” focusing on the positive growth and development of youths in China.
