The big day is nearly here! In less than 24 hours you’ll no doubt be enjoying all of the brilliant food and brilliant company that Christmas has to offer.

So, we thought we’d post this out today to give us the chance to say:

From everyone here at Snap Out, to you, Happy Christmas! We hope you have a truly joyful day and the time to relax.

For this special festive post, we thought we’d treat you to a little look at what’s on our Christmas list this year here at Snap Out HQ. There’s lots of things we’d like in our office (an endless supply of coffee and biscuits, for one!) but we’ve managed to narrow it down.

So, here’s what we’re hoping we find under the tree…

More User-Centric Products

In 2020, we want to see lots more products going to market that have truly considered their users at ever step of the process. We want to continue to help even more businesses by working in sprints to reduce the chances of product failure. After all, there’s little better than knowing every design decision you’ve made is the right one!

We hope that we get to celebrate lots of successes with clients of our User-Centric Product Development Package in the New Year and beyond.

Branding created with customers in mind

Too often, branding doesn’t get tested with customers. That’s why, for Christmas, we want more brand perception research, more A/B testing and all of the related work needed to de-risk any collateral created.

We help lots of businesses and consultancies to develop brands and our years of experience have proven to that knowing your customers is the key to brilliant branding.

Successful grant funding applications

As we’ve spoken about in a recent post for SEMLEP, there are a lot of misconceptions out there about grant funding. As great as it would be if grants were free pots of money and if applications only took half an hour to write, that’s unfortunately not true!

With that being set, we want to help even more businesses to secure the funding that they so deserve in 2020, through our Grant Accelerator Programme.

Customer growth for all

Every business wants more customers, right?

That’s why we’re so keen to have “customer growth for all” underneath our tree tomorrow morning. As with a lot of things in business, building more customers is all about knowing them first! That’s why we created our 12-Step-Programme to help businesses do just that.

Accessible research for all

To get all of the above in 2020, we know that the first step is to have research available to all businesses. It truly is the core to everything from getting customers and nailing branding, to creating products that sell and getting that funding you’re after.

As part of this, we’ve decided to dedicate the first three months of the new year on our blog to covering the absolute research basics. We’ll be creating beginners’ guides to topics like design thinking, lean startups and agile project management and who your customer actually is!

Alongside this, of course, we’ll continue to offer our user and market research services to businesses at every stage of their journey.

The Takeaways

To put it simply, in 2020 we want businesses to do their research. We believe that the rest of our wishes will follow quite naturally!

For one last time, we hope you have an absolutely incredible Christmas and that you get everything you want under your tree. Do let us know in the comments what you’re hoping Father Christmas brings your business, as we’d love to know.

And don’t forget to stay tuned next year for our blog posts breaking down the research basics that you need to know! To make sure you don’t miss any, follow Snap Out on Medium.
