Purposelessness

It’s the emptiness, the purposelessness, the feeling that no where you go or what you do or who you’re with, nothing will matter. You will exist and life will pass you by, and you cannot even begin to care except there is a vague feeling of unrest and the realization that you are empty, you are purposeless, and this realization itself should be indicative of fullness, of purpose because how can you truly feel meaningless, how can you know that you are meaningless unless meaning exists, unless happiness exists. You know it’s a cycle, you know it is futile, you know, you know, you know, except you don’t know anything at all, except that statement is contradictory because you know that you don’t know, and it’s all just the stupidest thing and you feel like you’re fifteen again and you wish you could just turn it off. But you can’t.
