Jam day is here! Read below to learn all the nitty-gritty.

What projects can participate

Anything goes, as long as it does not offend anyone. You can present a past project, however, this must be stated in the form.

How to deliver your project

Before Sunday the 13th of October at 18:00 PM GMT+2 your project should have been delivered to the following form.

Any entries after 18:00 PM GMT+2 will not count.

How is a winner selected

Each project will receive points from Community members, official judges and the Snapy team, as follows:

Community vote: 40%
Official judges: 30%
Snapy team: 30%

Each one will award a maximum of 105 points to each project. That total amount of points will be multiplied by the % above, once all have been added up it will give the total points the project has received.

If the project presented was started before the jam it will receive a 30% penalty in its total amount of points.

You can present a past project that has not been presented to the community earlier, however, it will receive a 30% penalty.

If the project is not open-sourced, it will receive a penalty of 20%.

Both penalties will be added up, making a maximum of 50% penalty should the project be closed sourced & started before the competition.

How are points awarded

After all the feedback received, the way each project will receive points from 0 to 10 in each area. However, some areas receive a bonus multiplier.

Original / fun: x2 points
Marketing utility: x1.5 points
UI: x1 points
UX: x1 points
Clean code: x1 points
Generates revenue: x1 points

Prize pool

We started with 200 NANO and currently over 800 NANO have been donated, making the total over 1000 NANO & growing. Once the competition ends we will state the final prize pool.

1st place — 60 % of the pool
2nd place — 30% of the pool
3rd place — 10% of the pool
