The Scribble Workshop: The Basics is a class to introduce first timers to calligraphy, focusing on basic strokes and how to use the flexible nib. It is a 3 hour-session of foundational drills and creative exercises, structured and developed to teach first timers. So no need to worry, enthusiasts with zero background are more than welcomed to learn something new!
More about the Instructor
Alexis Ventura is a self-taught calligrapher who has been practicing calligraphy for over 3 years. She didn’t graduate from an arts course (she took up an honors course in management with a finance minor), and last year, she left her corporate career to work on Ink Scribbler full-time. She hasn’t looked back since then.
She has been conducting calligraphy workshops for over a year, designed wedding invitations for top celebrity couples, and taken on collaborative projects with various brands and companies.
