Snip April Update
Greetings to the Snip community!
April was a very fruitful month for Snip and we’re excited to share all the progress that we’ve achieved. As usual, we’re also sharing our plans for May, where the focus will be on creating an even better user experience and gaining users and writers.
Content
The open writer platform is proving itself with improved quality and quantity, covering a wide variety of topics from world news to cryptocurrency. During April we added more than 20 new writers and reached over 100 posts per day on average. As we improve the writer tools in May, we expect to add dozens more writers and reach hundreds of posts per day. Mobile Apps and Website
Our full-fledged Snip Android app is live and being used to read Snip content, hold SNIP on your mobile device, and tip your favorite writers. We’re constantly receiving feedback from the community and have already launched a redesign which makes it easier to navigate the news on the app.
The iOS app is also being constantly updated and will soon include the updated redesign, and the web app is already up to date.
All apps now have a new and fresh icon.
Using and Trading SNIP
SNIP trading on Qrytpos is still going strong, allowing people to buy and sell SNIP easily. RadarRelay and EtherDelta are still available for SNIP buying and selling but are seeing less demand from the community.
During April SNIP was also added to CoinMarketCap. Thanks to everyone in the community who reached out to CMC and helped make that happen!
We continue to allow SNIP tipping and the paid SNIP audio subscription service, and hope to add SNIP as a reward format for writers soon.
Hiring
During April we added another super talented engineer, adding firepower to an already strong development team. We don’t plan to recruit additional software engineers in the near future as the future focus will be on growth and marketing. Currently company leadership is spending a large portion of their time on marketing, user acquisition, and writer acquisition.
