Precise.ai has recently merged with Qonsent, integrating its powerful capabilities directly within the Precise platform. Going forward, you’ll find Qonsent’s functionality seamlessly incorporated into Precise under the name “Precise Qonsent.” This integration enhances our platform, allowing us to offer an even more comprehensive solution to our users.
Below is a step-by-step guide of how brands can integrate the Precise platform with Snowflake:
Step 1: Login to your Snowflake Account & Retrieve Your Host Information
- Login to your Snowflake account:
- Access your Snowflake account and get the Host.
2. Open a New SQL worksheet:
- Open a new SQL worksheet and enter the following: SELECT SYSTEM$ALLOWLIST();
- Click the blue play button in the top right corner to run the query.
3. Copy the Host value:
- Copy the “Host”, as you will need this in the Qonsent Brand Portal.
- “uub62849.us-east-1.snowflakecomputing.com” [in this example]
Step 2: Set up a Dedicated Database for Qonsent
- Create a Database
- Create a dedicated Database for the Qonsent data to be stored within your Snowflake instance. You can name it anything, but for this example, we’ll use Qonsent.
2. Make sure you have the following (5) data values:
- Host: uub62849.us-east-1.snowflakecomputing.com [note this is for a trial account used in this example]
- Database (DB): Qonsent [note: this can be anything the brand wants, but in this example we have used “Qonsent”]
- Schema: public
- Username (UN): [enter username]
- Password (PWD): [enter password]
- Note: Ensure that the database is set up in Snowflake. If not, the data will sync over 24–48 hours once the database exists.
Step 3: Configure Integration
- Access the Qonsent Brand Portal:
- Log in to your Brand Portal (you will need a Qonsent account in order to do this)
2. Navigate to the Data Management Section:
- Go to the Data Management section to begin the setup.
3. Enter the values for your Snowflake Instance:
Input the following details into the Brand Portal:
- Host: uub62849.us-east-1.snowflakecomputing.com
- Database: Qonsent
- Schema: public
- Username: [enter username]
- Password: [enter password]
4. Build Smart Qontracts and/or Smart Forms
- Begin building any Smart Qontracts or Smart Forms as required for your integration.
5. Test data flow:
- Verify that the data flows correctly between Qonsent and Snowflake.
6. Verify data in Snowflake:
- Check Snowflake to ensure that the data from Qonsent is being received and stored properly.
