Happy New Year’s everyone! 2020 has been about building. Below you can find what we’ve been up to in the last 2 weeks.

Week 11 closes with wrapping up the meme contest. The contest was a smashing success as there were over 200 memes submitted along with outstanding NFTs that were auctioned off by community member rootdraws. He also pledged to stake a portion of the proceeds and use them to incentivize artists to participate in a $SNOW Project Challenge next year. Picking just 10 winners was extremely difficult, but we somehow made it through and will be posting the results in a separate blog post.

SnowSwap also officially joined Leo Finance last week and want to thank the team and community there for so graciously accepting us. Our initial blog post there received huge amounts of support from the Leo users and we are excited to reach out to a new community. Leo receives 12,000 daily page views and we are committed to help them grow as a consistent member of their community.

The month of December has been dedicated to planning for 2021, the partnerships, the future of DeFi and the piece that would make the most impact, and we’d like to hear from you. Our team is currently evaluating the following:

  1. Eth 2 swaps
  2. y3Pool <>yUSD
  3. fStable Asset swaps
  4. Badger BTC swaps
  5. _______________ (let us know what you’d like to see)

SnowSwap is optimized for extremely efficient like/kind swaps

This week Quantstamp published the results from our security review. The full security review can be found here and Snowswap’s follow-up and responses can be found here. The dev team spent the last week working diligently to update our contracts as per Quantstamp’s recommendations and we will also undergo a full code audit in early 2021.

Tune in next week, as we plan to reveal a major partnership.

As always thank you to the community for the support and suggestions you have given us and until next week 👋
