  1. Goat

GOAT is a website, iPhone and Android app that allows you to buy and sell sneakers with the tap of a button. They are the frontrunner for having competitively low prices, a clean record of authenticity and have a very good reputation of trust and minimal fraud. GOAT is the best place to discover new sneakers, colorways you didn’t even know existed, locate rare finds and even list things to sell out of your own collection to make some money! Simply select the sneakers you like, press the ‘buy’ button, choose your form of payment, enter contact/ shipping information and your new kicks will be on their way.

Pros: GOAT processes orders with a middle-man customer service team to prevent scams and assure authenticity. Their marketplace also features some of the coolest sneaker finds available out there, with a variety of up to 75,000 different styles to choose from at any given time.

Cons: GOAT primarily only serves to the US and Canada as of right now. They also have high selling fees of up to 20% and a $5 domestic charge per order ($20 charge for Canada, $30 charge for other countries).

2. StockX

StockX is essentially a stock market for things. This service allows you to buy and sell limited edition and high end sneakers live, at either a bidding or asking price. What makes StockX outstanding is the authentication service that they provide to ensure that each product posted is legitimate. They also offer a ‘price guide’ to help you scope out the current market value for a product based on its real-time market data and analysis.

Pros: StockX provides an authentication service where the product is intercepted during the delivery process by a team of trained individuals who can guarantee that the sneakers are 100% legitimate.

Cons: The prices on StockX reflect a real stock market, one day they can dip really low, but on another they can unexpectedly rise — all to do with the demand and supply trends of the moment!

3. Snupps

Our app, Snupps, is primarily an app used for collectors and communities, which makes it the perfect place for our recently launched feature called ‘Make Me An Offer’. ‘Make Me An Offer’ allows for a spontaneous buying and selling exchange to potentially take place, without the pressure of a traditional trade process. Simply show interest in an item by making an offer, then negotiate the price and terms with the buyer/seller over a direct messaging service!

Pros: ‘Make Me An Offer’ is the future of social selling with no fees. Build collections and your community at the same time, with the added advantage of being able to interact around sales, barter with sellers and discuss bids with friends; it’s a fun and informal way of buying and selling.

Cons: If you’re buying, you should pay by PayPal protect and if you’re selling we recommend you use a tracked delivery service to ensure the package has arrived.

The best way to make sure your shelves stay lit is to keep updating and refreshing your collection. If you are looking to buy or sell we hope you found this article useful. To keep track of what’s currently on trend, make sure to check out our Sneakers group on Snupps!
