Remembering All Victims on Holocaust Remembrance Day

On the day when we remind ourselves to Never Forget it seems more than five million victims of the Holocaust have already been forgotten — their deaths just as irrelevant as their lives.

When I was a kid, and public schools were still reasonably well funded, we were taught a number — 11 million. Eleven million souls, the estimated number of people exterminated by the Nazis…




Everyone needs statehood. Everyone deserves a home.
