Soar is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Neil Prentice in the new role as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr Prentice has previously worked in a variety of management and consulting roles including 10 years with KPMG and PwC, and Advisory Services Manager for the Sustainable Energy Association. Furthermore, Mr Prentice has worked with multiple start-ups and early-stage businesses with the commercialisation and scaling of their technologies, as well as undertaking due diligence on technology acquisitions from early-stage businesses.
In addition to these roles, Mr Prentice has expertise in the area of government funding initiatives to assisting developing and commercialising emerging technologies, particularly those exporting to global marketplaces.
Mr Prentice’s new role will primarily focus on accelerating commercialisation opportunities with key strategic partners who have shown significant interest in Soar as a market disruptor, including the recently announced partnership with China Siwei from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
Soar CEO Amir Farhand added, “The timing could not be better for us with Neil’s appointment to Chief Operating Officer. 2019 has seen unprecedented growth for Soar and the new partnership with China Siwei means we have someone in a position who can ensure that partnership strengthens for the years to come.”
