Tell us a bit about your background — where are you from and what did you study?
I originally come from small village called Jamne in the Czech Republic. I completed my Masters in Information Systems at Masaryk University in Brno before coming to Australia to pursue my career further.
What made you want to become a developer?
My first choice was actually to study Law! However, I found that I had a hidden passion for Information Technology and so I decided to apply and see how I liked it.

Why did you join Soar?
I’ve actually been with Soar since its inception! Having said that, I personally really enjoy the connection between blockchain and aerial mapping — especially drones.
What are you responsible for at Soar?
I’m responsible for the blockchain-side of the project and the back end development of the system, which includes the super-map.
What excites you the most about what Soar is doing?
The thing that excites me the most about Soar is the idea of being able to both capture and visualise the world inside an ever-changing super-map. That’s what we’re focused on delivering.
Where do you see Soar in 2 years?
The super-map is officially live and is changing the way in which we view our world!
About Soar: Soar is a decentralised global Super-map built on blockchain technology. The Super-map will include access to all mapping systems including daily satellite imagery feeds, high resolution aerial sensors from planes and drone content collected by the greater drone community. All connected using blockchain technology to connect and share dynamic mapping data. Soar aims to be the decentralised blockchain platform for the future of all maps and imagery.
