Soar Worldwide Photography Competition Recap
As you all may or may not know, Soar held its very first internationally open drone photography competition to encourage drone users to take awesome photos with their drones, and to spread the word about the Soar platform. We held the Soar Worldwide Photography Competition from the 27th of August to the 2nd of October 2018.
The competition was held in 2 rounds; round 1 lasted from the start of the competition until the 23rd of September, from which the top 10 were voted by the community to initiate round 2, which finished on the 2nd of October. Unfortunately there was one disqualification which resulted in an overall top 9.
With a prize pool of 35,000 SKYM (SkyMap) Tokens, and a brand new DJI Spark drone for the winner, it was a very close top 3!
Overall, we want to thank everyone who entered the competition and a big congratulations to the top 9 winners. We loved seeing all of the incredible drone photography and are looking forward to seeing your future pictures in our next photography competition!
