Updates from Soar HQ: March
Soar HQ has been hard at it the past few months and we have some very exciting announcements to come from it; including mobile support, a new partnership, and new exchanges.
Pre-registrations now open
Soar has plans to officially launch its main net platform in early May, however pre-registrations are now open. Head over to demo.soar.earth now to sign up!
Mobile Soaring
We’ve added Mobile support for sharing and exploring Drone and Satellite imagery. You still need to use your desktop computer for the advanced stuff like uploading content but it’s a big step forward in putting the power of Soar in your pocket.
Tech updates
The Soar developers are pleased to announce the release of version 0.2 of the Soar Platform and the final major release before our Main net launch in May. This was a major release that involved a lot of refactoring and new features.
The Soar tech team have completely refreshed and simplified our user registration process. Before, users would have to install and work their way through MetaMask and the Rinkeby Test-net, which was a timely process even for experienced users. But now, our awesome developers have built a way around this and simplified the sign up process to an email address and a password — it takes less than 1 minute! While still recording everything onto the blockchain.

Exchanges
Soar is pleased to announce that Skymap (SKYM) has officially listed on NCX — an Australian based cryptocurrency exchange owned and operated from Perth, Western Australia.
Customers are now able to purchase and trade SKYM tokens against both Ethereum (ETH) and Australian Fiat currency (AUD).

Partnerships
We have entered into a ground-breaking partnership with RelmaTech that will significantly enhance the drone operations and delivery of live sensor data feeds for SOAR users.
The partnership brings RelmaTech’s unique real-time drone management and precision tracking capabilities to the SOAR Super-map.
Combining precision drone tracking technologies with the blockchain to permanently record the provenance and authenticity for drone sensor data, is an important step in monitoring and mapping mining, forestry, agricultural and disaster response operations, emphasise both companies.

Soar welcomes a new team member
Soar is excited to announce the appointment of Jurassic World Superfan-turned-viral marketer Timothy Glover as their new Head of Brand. Timothy has spent the last five years working as a Creative Director for Universal Pictures and Amblin’s Jurassic World franchise at the helm of Director, Co-Writer and Executive Producer Colin Trevorrow.
