Hello and welcome to the Sober Book Club 😊📚

Sober Book Club began as a small Instagram community in May 2021 and we now reach an audience of over 10k on all of our social media channels. As a book club we read a different quit-lit book each month and our meetings are held on the last Sunday of the month online.

To submit to this publication:

  • Your writing must align with the theme of sobriety and/or sobriety and recovery themed books
  • You must be following the publication
  • You don’t have to be sober but you must have an interest in sobriety, self help, books and recovery
  • Your work must be your own and not published elsewhere. We accept everything that aligns with our theme including how-to’s, personal stories, opinion pieces, the latest sober news, book reviews, features/interviews and lists
  • All of your writing, images and other material should be your own intellectual property unless you have the permissions to use other peoples images/text etc
  • The piece should ideally be between 500 – 2000 words with a maximum of 2000 words
  • You can include all relevant links, socials and any other accompanying information you require
  • Your article may be shared on our socials, if you want us to tag you please include your social links within your submission
  • Also please note that Sober Book Club has the right to edit any writing before publishing
