Some think feminism ruined heterosexual relationships. It destroyed chivalry and annihilated romance.

Men are confused now. Should they open the door for women or not? Should they pay for dinner or not? Should they ask her out on a date or not?

Women no longer need to marry for money. They earn their own incomes. Women don’t need men for much for anything anymore.

Well, maybe they need men for sex — but even there, some think feminism destroyed the traditional courting process. Women no longer feel they need to be married to have sex. Why should men bother treating women nicely when women are so easy?

So when women complain about the dearth of good men out there, they only have themselves to blame. Before the women’s movement, there was a stable order to things. Everyone knew their place. Women had their roles and men had theirs.

Simple.

Then came along feminism and messed everything up

Or not.

A whole slew of studies show that feminism hasn’t ruined male-female relationships — it’s improved them.
