Dive Deeper into Social Bureau Feature: Crime Suppression
Social Bureau is a social blockchain platform that aims to lower the crime rate in the countries covered. In today’s article, we’ll be covering the crime suppression feature. Crime Suppression is composed of 2 steps: crime reporting and bounty hunting, which can generate income through tokens for our users.
As the world revolves, so do crimes, as they happen every day; waiting for the victim to report the crime might not be enough anymore. Our crime reporting features allow vigilant users to report crimes anonymously. Anonymity, in this sense, means that your identity will not be displayed to us and other users of the so-called Zero-Knowledge Proof system. Once our inspectors have verified the crime reports, they will receive reward tokens to encourage more vigilence with the community.
As reports come in, informants themselves or other entities can put up a bounty on the task, which means they are posting tokens as rewards for other individuals to complete the task; 10% of the bounty will go to the Social Bureau treasury where as another 90% will be the reward pool share among the bounty hunter who help complete the task. They will receive the share of rewards from the portion of work and this work, the community has rated as a useful work counting from the Quality Vote results.
As much as bounties stipulate the vigilance of individuals to prioritize the task, users may also post a task without bounties to keep their area safe. Aside from bounties, users may also post any additional information that may be useful to solving the case, such as the general location of the crime, identities of the suspects, or technical information such as IP addresses of the criminals’ network, among other things.
