Don’t Conform, Be You!

You know all those guidelines, rules, expectations that society and the government expect us to follow? Well a lot of them aren’t logical in the mental health aspect of it. For families: parents and other family members should strive to be imperfect and to accept and respect their loved ones for who they are flaws and quirks and all.

If someone tells you that you must or need to follow the rules of all areas of who you are as a citizen of society and as a human being on this planet, don’t. Don’t listen to them. But to others reading this, maybe thinking how that can cause many issues and problems and I can completely see that in my mind and understand the concerns of saying something like that and what can happen. But what is more important:

  • Following rules, expectations of what society and the government expects us to be as citizens of society and human beings
  • Individuality: being fully embraced for all that oneself is with no limitations from anyone including oneself

Limits only exist in the mind!

Which would you pick and why? And to note: you can’t have both in the reality of the first choice. But things can always change just as much as our earth rotates. We can make some changes to the rules and expectations of what our society as a while expects of each other and what the government expects of each one of us.

We can make changes where it’s equal and fair on both or all sides so that there is nothing that leaves anyone or anything out! Well now there’s risks left to cover on this subject. Let’s get started!

Risks are something that are part of life and must be encouraged to take in life. It’s something that we all should encourage each other and ourselves! Taking risks are great when you know the risks you are taking are on the right facts and the right way. And by the right way, I don’t mean by the usual way and thinking that society and the government even has taught us to use in our everyday lives!

I actually mean the way of following our heart and knowing it’s the way that we ourself as one person would do and not anything anyone else would do, not even what others encourage us to do in life. And to also cover briefly, taking risks and taking chances are what we all need to do more of in our own individual lives which intime will be known or labeled as “change”!

Life is full of risk. You never know what’s gonna happen but if you don’t take chances, then you will never know what you’re capable of. But it requires a leap of faith. The important thing is to find someone you want to take a leap with. And then you close your eyes and you take a deep breath, and jump! ~ I Do, I Do, I Do

You know I’ve never really liked the idea of conforming to society’s expectations and rules. I’m speaking of this from my own experiences of tears worth that has brought me to this belief and why I prefer to embrace myself for who I am flaws and quirks and my broken pieces and all!
