“I think dystopian futures are also a reflection of current fears” – Lauren Oliver

I believe that dystopian futures are mostly a bad society to live in. Like for example, The Hunger Games & Divergent movie series.

“If we were to combine forces, we’d be unstoppable!” ~ Insurgent

People test you like the government did with Tris to see how far your willing to fight to save someone you love no matter what the circumstances are!

“What sets her apart will set the world free” ~ Insurgent

They have set their own special groups where they expect their citizens to pick the one that their test results indicate they must follow.

“This is the only chance we have to rescue what little civilization we have left” ~ Insurgent

Except for Divergent; they are somehow hated by the government they have and are in danger as I would like to say “war” – battle against the government no matter how intense and life-threatening or changing in any way, you must never give up.

“People think that walls separate us, but they also protect us!” ~ Allegiant

Between dystopia and optimism, I would always choose optimistic for the rest of my life. Optimism is where nothing is impossible according to the movie “Tomorrowland” with Britt Robertson and George Clooney.

“Fight for tomorrow!” ~ Tomorrowland

“You wanted to see Tomorrowland, here it comes!” ~ George Clooney

“Every second that ticks by, the future, is running out.” ~ Frank Walker (George Clooney)

What you saw, was a place; a miraculous, secret place where the best & the brightest people in the world came together to actually change it! Where nothing was impossible!

“A miraculous place where you can actually change the world”

“He thinks you can fix the future” ~ Nix

“What if there was a place where nothing was impossible!”

Governor Nix, we’re working on improving but overall changing the future aka the future! We’ll solve all the salvagers, obesity, starvation, famine, and everything else Frank Walker listed in the beginning of the movie. We got this. All us optimists also known as “dreamers” always have a plan; a way to solve all the world’s problems. Just trust us, and we’ll save the world, but giving us little things to help us by co-operating with us to make all our plans to make this happen would be greatly appreciated to us and the whole world!

1984

After just watching the trailer for George Orwell’s dystopian movie (after being mentioned in “Tomorrowland”), I’ve been feeling intrigued into watching it even though I’m against it all. I only believe in optimism when it’s between these two individually with their own beliefs, statements, & alternate reality that turns the world in different paths.
