“When everything goes to hell, the people who stand by you without flinching – – they are your family. ” -Jim Butcher

. 1- Ultimate support system

Doesn’t it feel nice to have others to pamper you or care for you? Their constant nagging about little things that shows how much you mean to them. They support you through thick and thin and always have your back no matter what. Isolated person can’t achieve much on his own. He needs constant support from them. It’s not just the mere existence of the family a person needs but the spirit of the family that matters the most. So, having a supportive family makes a world of difference.

. 2- Loves you unconditionally

There is no one other than your family that loves you unselfishly. They know our darkest secrets, our weaknesses as they watch us grow, but love us anyway.

. 3- Provides a shoulder to lean on

Failure is inevitable when taking steps towards your career/goals but what matters is how you overcome it. If someone is there to help you get out of it, then it’s much easier to cope. In a good/well-structured family, you can always lean on your family members. They will be there for you whenever you need them.

. 4- Celebrates your happiness

Do you want celebration? They are ever ready to bask in your triumph, think no more of their difficulties in life to make the most of your day. That’s how family’s happiness is tied down to each other.

. 5- Watch over you and provides for you

An effective way to lead a satisfied life is to fulfill your human primitive needs i.e. food, shelter, clothes and education as the famous psychologist Abram Maslow explains in his theory. His hierarchy of needs concept shows that in order to live a happy life you have to get your basic needs fulfilled and that’s what a family does. There are loads of other things for which you should be forever obliged to your folks. Furthermore, family indoctrinate values to shield you from unhealthy influences which might aid in shaping your future.

Family is everything, no one can deny that. All you have to do is take some time out of your hectic schedule and spend it with your family, this is the most delightful way to live a life.
