Learning about VR, 360 video

Bots, design thinking, social video, Snapchat, Listening Posts, analytics, crowdsourcing…you name it, chances are they’ve experimented with it as we look at better ways to understand and engage audiences.

Date: December 13
Time: 5:30pm-(approx)8:30pm Presentations with reception to follow
Location: CUNY-J, 219 W. 40th St./Newsroom

FREE, but please register here.

Not in New York? We’ll livestream, and video will be uploaded to YouTube following the event. Follow along on Twitter with hashtag #socialj

Each student chooses a community to work with throughout the course of the program. You’ll hear about all of the diverse strategies they’ve used in working with a range of communities, from the underground music scene in NYC to victims of emotional abuse.

Each student will have nine minutes — time limit strictly enforced! — to describe what they’ve done and learned throughout the year. We’ll have a reception to follow where you can meet the students, who will graduate on December 15.
