Traveling, A Way To Conquer Fears and Fulfill What’s Missing
Traveling is like a lens you can use to see into the hearts of the different cultures around the world. It is such a great opportunity everyone needs to experience. Although, not everyone chooses to take a chance to. Most people become discouraged by the price to travel, or they’re scared to leave their comfort zones, and because of culture shocks and differences. Sometimes others need to make sacrifices for a much bigger benefit that can change their life. Some benefits include once in a lifetime experiences, mental health, lessons to carry for the rest of their lifetime, opportunities to change the world and worldly economic benefits.

Travel and the Economy

Biophilia
Biophilia, the theory that was originally coined in 1973 by Erich Fromm and later used by Edward O. Wilson in 1984, is a REAL THING. This hypothesis states that humans have a tendency to try and connect to nature and other forms of natural life, and that it is a part of a genetic process to do so. So in other words humans look to nature to calm down and take a breather from the hectic day to day lives we all live. Biophilia is what we need to recharge ourselves. With this being said this is why vacations and taking breaks are a prime necessity to anyone’s life.
Travel and Mental Health
Travel is the NUMBER ONE mood booster for Americans, according to a study done by priceline.com. The following info graphic points out key facts that were concluded from that survey.
This powerpoint gives some great tips on different aspects of travel and how to help deal with them.
All in all, vacations and time away from our day to day lives are completely necessary. Traveling provides mood improvement, learning experiences, boosts the economy and opens the door to life live fully. Although some people do not think it is within their budgets it is still possible between looking for deals, being creative with a small camping trip, or taking any risks to make it happen. The point is, stop stressing and stop having small worries, shop around, and get motivated to work towards getting out of your daily comfort zones!
