You need to start thinking like a child, if you want to get better at digital marketing in this noisy world.

This “new digital world” is kind of crazy.

There is too much information…

Too many blog articles…

Too many tips and growth hacks…

SO HOW THE HECK DO WE STAND OUT?

Remember when we were kids, we persisted until we were heard. We kept on asking the WHY until we got our answers.

Then something happened. The “adulthood” took over and now we are too afraid to think like a child. As adults, we just give up too soon.

Here is how you can start thinking like a child again and get your digital marketing back on track.

Be curious

Ask questions what other people are too afraid to ask. What if you post less on Instagram? What if you Tweet without any links? What if you just answered questions in your niche instead of promoting yourself?

Poke at everything

I kind of stole this from Seth Godin’s book “Poke The Box” but this is what we did as kids. We poked at everything. We asked difficult questions. If we had a question, it came out.

Treat all of your marketing tactics as experiments. If you fail, learn, adapt and move on.

“Giving up WHAT”

Giving up is never an option for a kid. Everything is within our reach and possible.

Fail your way to success

How many times did we fall before learning how to ride that bike?

Now, we give up after one of our Facebook Ad campaign fails.

We give up after writing 5 blog posts because no one is reading our content. What if we wrote anyways?
